Dhikr (the “App”) is an Islamic companion app — prayer times, Qibla compass, Quran, Azkar, and Duas — published by an independent developer (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). Contact: apps.contact.supports@gmail.com.
This policy explains, in plain language, what data the App handles and why.
The App is designed to need very little personal data. Here is everything it touches:

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, SMS messages, calendar, or photos. The App has no sign-up or login.
The App relies on these services, each with its own privacy policy:
Prayer-time and location calculations are performed on your device and do not require sending your location to us.
The App may show banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads via Google AdMob. Ads are personalised only where you allow it. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland we show a consent prompt before serving personalised ads. You can disable ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads) or remove ads via in-app purchase. Reading the Quran and core worship screens are kept free of interruptive ads.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
All of your data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not hold a server-side copy of your personal content. For any request, email apps.contact.supports@gmail.com; we action verified requests within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, delete, and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Because the App collects little or no identifying information, most requests are straightforward. We do not sell personal information.
Network requests use HTTPS. Purchases are validated by Google Play directly — we never see your payment method.
If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
