Wallio (the “App”) is a wallpaper discovery app, published by an independent developer (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). Contact: apps.contact.supports@gmail.com.
This policy explains, in plain language, what data the App handles and why.
| Category | What it is | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|---|
| App preferences | Your favourites, downloads list, and settings. | To restore your experience between sessions. | On your device only. |
| Image requests | When you browse or download a wallpaper, a request (including your IP address, as with any internet request) is sent to the third-party image provider. | To fetch the images you asked to see. | Handled by the image provider (Wallhaven / Unsplash / Pexels / Pixabay). We do not store it. |
| Purchase records | A receipt confirming the one-time “Remove Ads” purchase. | To unlock the feature you paid for. | Validated by Google Play. We store only a yes/no flag on your device. |
| Advertising identifier | Your device's advertising ID, unless you removed ads or opted out at the OS level. | So our ad partner (Google AdMob) can show ads. | Sent to Google AdMob. We do not store it. |
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, SMS messages, calendar, location, microphone audio, or photos. The App has no sign-up or login.
The App may show banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads via Google AdMob. Ads are personalised only where you allow it. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland we show a consent prompt before serving personalised ads. You can disable ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads) or remove ads via in-app purchase.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your favourites, downloads list, and settings live on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not hold a server-side copy of your personal content. For any request, email apps.contact.supports@gmail.com; we action verified requests within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, delete, and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information.
Network requests use HTTPS. Purchases are validated by Google Play directly — we never see your payment method.
If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
