Thock (the “App”) is a mechanical-keyboard sound meter, published by an independent developer (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). Contact: apps.contact.supports@gmail.com.
This policy explains, in plain language, what data the App handles and why.

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, SMS messages, calendar, location, or photos. The App has no sign-up or login. Your microphone audio never leaves your device.
The App requests microphone permission solely to measure keyboard sound while you are on the measurement screen. Audio is analysed in real time and discarded; it is not stored, uploaded, or shared. You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings (the measurement feature will then stop working until you re-grant it).
The App may show banner or interstitial ads via Google AdMob. Ads are personalised only where you allow it. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland we show a consent prompt before serving personalised ads. You can disable ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads) or remove ads by buying Thock Pro.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your board profiles and settings live on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not hold a server-side copy of your content. For any request, email apps.contact.supports@gmail.com; we action verified requests within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, delete, and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information.
Audio processing happens on your device. Purchases are validated by Google Play directly — we never see your payment method.
If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
